Well written reminder of what we should be doing Jun 23, 2002
By Linda Zarate
"IT Ops Consultant"
This 240-page book covers the key issues for managing project teams. It covers the full range of issues and provides advice for managing project change, team dynamics and cultural diversity, and developing effective project teams. It goes into areas such as how to inspire team performance, and how to develop self-managed work teams, then transform them into self-motivated project teams. It also contains self-assessment exercises that are valuable checkpoints as you follow the advice in the book. Most of the advice is common sense, but the material should be read by every practicing project manager at least once a year for a reminder of what's important.

How To Do It Right! May 04, 2010
By Thomas Outt This series of books pretty much stands for ethics, common sense, and an ethos that advocates empowering people on all levels. I can only wish that I encounter such folk at some point in the not-too-distant future in my Civil Service employment path--that, or hook up with Shirley Maclaine! Being a victim is not my first choice on the list of life accomplishments. I do not like the script that is continually being foisted upon me, and am in a constant state of protest. I look to people like Rosa Parks for my inspiration. Accepting the status quo, rolling over and playing dead, no, that's not "it." Managing the Project Team
